"If You're Gone" is a song performed by the rock band Matchbox Twenty. It was the second single from their album Mad Season. The song, written by Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas, became a top 10 hit on adult contemporary radio. Reaching #5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart it is the band's second best ranking song, preceded by the single Bent from the same album.
The music video for the song is filmed completely in black and white and only features the band (along with three trumpet players) performing on top of a building.
