"If We Were a Movie" is a 2006 song by Hannah Montana, a character on the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana, who is played by Miley Cyrus. The song is a love song in which a romance is idealistically imagined as developing along the lines of a typical romantic film plot. The song is included on the Hannah Montana soundtrack and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 47 in early November 2006; it was the highest debut on the chart that week, and held the highest position of the seven songs from the soundtrack that charted on the Hot 100 that week.[1][2]
