'If I Thought You'd Ever Change Your Mind' was the first single from Agnetha Fältskog's eleventh solo-album, the first after 17 years.

The song was originally performed by Cilla Black.

The single was a great success for Agnetha, in fact it was her most successful single ever outside Sweden. On top of that it was the most successful single by any of the four individual members of ABBA (except single "I Know Him So Well" from musical Chess which was written and produced by ABBA-male members Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaues). The single reached No. 2 in Sweden and No. 11 in the UK. In UK this single retained in the chart for five weeks: 11 - 22 - 31 - 44 - 55. Totally, it was sold 21 000 piecies in UK, including 11 000 sold in the first week.

If I Thought You'd Ever Change Your Mind was the first Agnetha-song to be remixed with a club-music-style. This time it was done by Almighty. These remixes were very famous in several British and Swedish clubs.
