ieTV is a local cable television station in Trinidad and Tobago and was the first local cable station in the country. It is carried on channel 16 on the Colombus cable system in Trinidad. The station's programming consists of a mix of local and East Indian programming. Local programming includes a twice weekly original theatrical production from the Freddy Kissoon Players, cooking shows, local documentaries, movies, business programmes and a daily 1/2 hour current affairs programme called One on One . During periods when original programming is not being carried, programming is provided by a feed from Voice Of America television.Live local newscasts are broadcast at 6.30pm,7.30pm and 9:00pm on weekdays and 6:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.The "ie" in the station name represents id est or "that is" which is reflected in the station slogan "That is TV".
