IDP Education Australia

IDP Education Australia (IDP) is a global not-for-profit organisation with head offices in Canberra and Sydney, offering international education and development services. The organisation is owned by 38 Australian universities. IDP was established in 1969 as an aid body and funded by the Australian government. The original name of the organisation was "Australian-Asian Universities' Cooperation Scheme". Today, IDP has activities in over 50 countries.

IDP co-administers the IELTS, a standardised English language proficiency test.
