Idiyappam

Idiyappam (rice noodles), also known as Stringhoppers, are a light south Indian food, usually served for breakfast in Kerala. In some parts of Kerala, it is also known as Noolputtu. It can be eaten with spicy or sweet side dishes. Stringhoppers are also popular in many forms in Sri Lanka especially for breakfast and dinner, and are cooked with flour from many different types of grain, and are eaten with a variety of sides.
