[edit] Colleges Affiliated with UMC

Great idea -- thanks for creating the category.

Here's a good listing of colleges from the UMC:

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Marcia Trimble may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. JarlaxleArtemis 00:43, May 10, 2005 (UTC)

Be aware that he didn't even write that message, and that it was merely a template. I believe the Marcia Trimble article is quite notable. Keep on with what you're doing, Ichabod, and if you need help, don't hesitate to email me or leave a message on my talk page. Mike H 20:15, May 10, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Nashville neighborhoods

I am proposing that we consider starting a Nashville neigborhoods project. (This would involve places like Belleshire, Inglewood, Joelton, The Nations, and Whites Creek — the bigger ones like Antioch, Bellevue, Donelson, Green Hills, and Hermitage, for example, already have them.) I don't have time to do this by myself and will only start it if others are interested; as you seem to be extrememly Nashville-knowledgable, I wanted to ask you and a few others. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Rlquall 03:34, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

It looks like Kaldari has the right idea. Check his comments to me on the topic if you wish, and also those of RivGuySC. Thanks. Rlquall 02:26, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Warn Vandal

Could you drop by and warn this vandal User_talk:68.14.162.172? He keeps defacing the Oklahoma Christian University page and I'd like him to stop or get his IP banned. Danlovejoy 03:42, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Church of Christ Link Policy

Hi! I'd like to point editors to the Church of Christ Talk Page to finalize a policy on links. Would you mind weighing in on the current language and editing, or giving a yeah or nay vote? Thanks! Danlovejoy 20:26, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Seventh-day Adventist Church Page

Hi!

I noticed that you have an interest in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. At the moment there is a debate raging on Talk:Seventh-day Adventist Church that has resulted in the main page being protected. The debate has to do with the theology of Graham Maxwell. I would really appreciate if you could drop by and comment on this issue.

By the way, you might want to sign up at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Seventh-day_Adventist_Church to help us make better pages to do with the Adventist Church.

Thanking you in advance, -Fermion 06:24, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Sorry I'm not a SDA member, so I'm afraid I wouldn't be of much help there. -Ichabod 19:51, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks all the same. If ever you are bored, you are more than welcome to drop by the Adventist page and post some suggestions. -Fermion 08:58, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category:English speaking countries

Please check the articles you have just edited. In addition to the category the articles have had extra characters added which need removing. Green Giant 05:05, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Could you be a bit more specific? I was just adding countries to the category based on List of countries where English is an official language. --Ichabod 05:12, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Yes, for example in this edit you'll notice that the interwikis got messed up. I had to revert all your changes unfortunately, sorry. —Khoikhoi 05:13, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that. It must be a limitation with my browser and/or character settings. I didn't realize it until it was too late. --05:16, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
What it produced was the addition of the symbol in the interwiki links to other versions of the article and then lined some of them up at the very bottom of the article. Green Giant 05:17, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
It's ok, do you know of any way to fix it? —Khoikhoi 05:18, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm using Firefox 1.5 to edit. The characters don't seem to have a problem in IE.... --Ichabod 05:19, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Untagged image

An image you uploaded, Image:YorkCollegeSeal.gif, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 19:15, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not upload images in the GIF format

Hello and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you've uploaded a number of images in the GIF format. In the future, please save GIF images in the PNG format before uploading (see Wikipedia:Preparing images for upload). PNG images almost always have a smaller file size, which decreases the amount of time they take to load. There are a bunch of other advantages to the PNG format such as lossless compression that you can read about on its Wikipedia article. —Remember the dot (t) 23:28, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
