Ich was born during the Reagan administration. A bunch of stuff happened, and then he registered for Wikipedia. He graduated from Camp Hill High School in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. He enrolled in a German High School as part of the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange, administered by AFS. If you have ever paid taxes in the United States, you have (in part) paid for his year abroad, although if the tax money from the Iraq war was used to fund the CBYX program, we'd have been able to send about tenth of our population (30m) abroad for a year (however, they would have to pay for their own beer), but that would have created international good-will and promoted peace. He has been a GNU/Linux user since June 25th, 2004, and has used SUSE and Debian GNU/Linux. He hates GNOME more than anything else in the world except for Windows ME and you.

He is too lazy to put anything else that is terribly interesting here. He chose the username "Ich" because it's shorter than the username "Ich bin das Walross" which he used for a long time as a member of a BBS, but eventually had shortened to Ich. Incidentally, "Ich bin das Walross" means "I am the Walrus" much like the song by The Beatles. The reader should by this point notice that just about everything here on this page screams of unoriginality. That's intentional. Most of the funny stuff on this page is shamelessly stolen from BJAODN because the author is as much an unoriginal moron as he is a douche.

He can speak German with almost no accent, and sometimes random people he met on the train on his way to school thought he was German, which was good, because, as of 2006, he was in Germany.
