[edit] Releases
Ichthux was first based on the Knoppix CD. Later, it targeted to a Custom Debian Distribution (CDD). Then the project grew around the Ubuntu community. Since version 6.09, based on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS "Dapper Drake", Ichthux has been based on Kubuntu.
As for Ubuntu, each release since Ichthux 6.09 has both a code name and a version number based on the year and month of release.
