[edit] Differences from the manga and anime
The Ichigo Mashimaro series is known for its inconsistent character designs, and the video game continues this trend.
Character designs are a mix between the manga and anime's styles. Nobue has brown hair, instead of black as in the anime. Nobue is also 20-years-old like her anime counterpart, rather than 16 as she is in the manga. Chika has black hair as in the anime, although the cover shows her with dark brown hair as in the manga. Matsuri has blonde hair (the same color as Ana), whereas it was white in the manga and gray in the anime (it is also gray on the game cover); her brown highlights are consistent through all designs. Ana's blond hair is a yellow color as in the anime, whereas the manga covers show her with a lighter color of blond. Miu's hair is a more vivid red color, where it has ranged from strawberry blond to a redish-brown in other mediums.
