Sorry. While I am sure this "artist's conception" took some time to make, but I think it is deceptive. Ice is buoyant, that iceberg would flip over, rather than stick that long keel so deep into the water.

Actually, yes, buoyancy would make a long, narrow iceberg like that in the picture flip over. It is simple physics. Play with some ice cubes, to prove it to yourself. Try floating a popsicle in a basin of water. The long axis of the popsible will be parallel to surface of water because of simply buoyancy. -- Geo Swan 03:02, 30 August 2005 (UTC)
