The Iceman is an epic rock opera, written by the Crabmen, a revolutionary band from Montreal, Quebec. The inspiration of the story cam from when two members of the band were playing at a championship curling game, in which they claim they could've won, if the iceman didn't kick them off the ice.
The Iceman chronicles the life of ice cleaner Flint Johnstone, a sad and lonely alcoholic man who has barely made it through life. From the beginning of his life to his anticlimactic death, Flint never seemed to live without some sort of adversity. A genius as a child, he was shunned by other children, who couldn't feel the pain inflicted on him. Shortly after, smothered by his mother and ostracized by his peers, he began to emotionally shut himself off completely from the outside world.
Now a young teenager, Flint didn't appear to be very tormented. Replacing all of his dark thoughts with humour, fellow students didn't notice his slowly decaying soul. Instead of realizing their cruelty, the children continued to psychologically beat Flint into a state of frozen developement. Template:The Crabmen
