IceChat is a freeware Windows IRC client written in Visual Basic. It has support for multiple servers, and has an easy to use interface. It includes scripting support, aliases, popup menus, all of which are easily edited within the program. The official support channel for IceChat is on the QuakeNet IRC Network in the #icechat channel.
The client started in August 2000, and since has developed into a very sophisticated IRC Client. IceChat was first made available to the public in April 2002 on CNET's website, and now is mirrored on dozens of other download sites.
