[edit] Career

Icarus originally debuted, on the first Chikara show on May 25,2002, as Ichabod Slayne. He was part of the Night Shift stable along with Blind Rage and Hallowicked. His association did not last long. Slayne lost a Mask vs. Hair match to Blind Rage, after this he renamed himself to Icarus and became a tecnico.

Icarus found a new tag team partner in the masked Gran Akuma. They formed the babyface Team F.I.S.T. (Friends In Similar Tights). In 2005 after a relative lack of success the team snapped and attacked Men@Work (Shane Storm & Mr. ZERO) after a match. They then joined up with the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, & Arik Cannon). Icarus lost his hair to Jigsaw at The Crushing Weight of Mainstream Ignorance. At Brick on November 17,2006 at BRICK Team F.I.S.T. defeated their stablemates Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli for the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas. After the match Hero ordered Team F.I.S.T. to take out Castagnoli, and after a bit of initial hesitation they turned on Castagnoli and kicked him out of the group and out of Chikara.
