"Ibn Ammar (c. 1031–c. 1086) was a Spanish Muslim poet from Silves who became prime minister of the taifa of Seville."
Spanish is someone from Spain.Silves is in Portugal. So, he was a Portuguese Muslim. As Portugal and Spain did not exist at that time he was an Iberian Muslim or an Hispano -Muslim.
