Imam Ibn Rajab(Arabic:امام ابن رجب), of the Hanbali school of Islamic thought, is considered one of the foremost authorities of prophetic tradition (hadith) of the 14th century CE.

There is little of his writing in English, except prominently a commentary on one hadith of the prophet which said, "The scholars are the heirs of the Prophets." See The Heirs of the Prophets, by Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali, Introduction and Translation by Zaid Shakir, Starlatch Press, 2001.
