Ibn Hajar al-Haytami al-Makki [1]was a Muslim Shafi'i scholar, born in 909 AH (16th centuryCE)

He died in 974 hijri


Regarding singing, the Shafi'ite scholar, Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami Al-Makki (909-974 H.), mentioned that some went so far as to claim the supposed consensus of ahlul Madeenah on this question[2].
