Copyright: The program code in the article is considered public domain for the following reason: During the 1960's and 1970's this code (and variations) was widely shared between user groups such as Share/Guide(IBM) and DECUS(Digital) and the orginal author is unknown and has never asserted any rights over this code.

The culture of the time was one of sharing at user group forums.

Importantly this particular piece of computer code has great (computer related) historical significance and needs to be presevered for posterity. The Snoopy Calendar was one of the most widely shared and implemented computer artifacts (60's /70's).
