IBM railway station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

IBM railway station is a railway station on the Inverclyde Line. As the name suggests, it is located within the confines of a large facility formerly owned entirely by IBM, a major employer for the town of Greenock. Recently, parts of the compound have been sold off to companies such as Sanmina-SCI, although locals still refer to the complex by its old name. Accordingly, there are no plans to change the station name. Only employees that work within the compound are able to use this station.
