Ibara (Pendragon series)

Ibara is a territory of Halla in the Pendragon series by D.J. MacHale.
The Traveler of Ibara, Remudi, was killed by Saint Dane (who took the name of 'Challenger Green') in a game of Tato. Tato is a part of the series of games called Grand X, and is always served as a tie-breaker. Tato is a simple, high-risk game. You can kill your opponent physically, or you can knock him off the platform (which also results in death). It is a game played on a platform supported by several domes. The players can choose to break the domes in order to get the weapons that are supplied in them, but by breaking the domes, they are also making the platform unstable and increase the chance of both players falling off to an ugly death. Nevva Winter, the Traveler of Quillan, tricked Remudi to enter the Grand X because he would have a chance of saving the territory. But Nevva was on Saint Dane's side all along and her plot caused the death of the Traveler of Ibara. Nevva uses the same trick on Bobby but this time, Saint Dane allows him to win. Bobby's victory is shortlived. A giant archive, codenamed "Mr. Pop", was destroyed. All of Quillan's history was wiped out. Nevva tells Bobby that she would fill in for the Traveler of Ibara since Remudi is dead. It has not yet been confirmed if the location, or one of the locations of Book 8 is Ibara. At the end of the book Nevva Winter stands to Saint Dane's side and Saint Dane tells bobby the future of the Travelers.
