[edit] Category:Rocks

Hi - I've been noticing all the recategorizing you've decided to do. I don't really think having say Pegmatite show up in Category:Igneous rocks AND in Category:Rocks of which cat:igneous rocks is a subcategory, is a good idea. Seems quite redundant to me. And, if you check around a bit, you will see a number of experienced editors doing just the opposite of what you are doing - depopulating redundancy in large categories. I just ask that you pause and check things a bit. Thanks, Vsmith 00:33, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

My reply to your post is on my talk as is my normal habit. Vsmith 02:57, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

....thanks for your note about country subdivisions. I know this page for a long time ;-) Tobias Conradi (Talk) 15:05, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

started : List of ISO 639-1 codes, maybe good if WP one day makes transition to ISO 639-3 Tobias Conradi (Talk) 12:42, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Code pages

Ian, about all these code pages (List of ISO 639-3 codes/x for example). Are they really encyclopedic? See WP:NOT, wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information (or an instruction manual).--Kchase02 T 04:07, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

I answered on the talk page - I will complete the sublisting and then cease further development to await discussion - eventually this should be merged with all the other language lists on WP. Iancarter 04:57, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:666.jpg

Hi! At Image:666.jpg, you claimed that the image is subject to the terms of the GFDL. However, the website which published the image (without your modification) says that it ‘should not be used or reproduced without explicit prior consent’. Please post evidence of such consent, including the consent to license the image under the GFDL, on the image’s description page. If you did not, in fact, obtain consent, please have the image deleted, because, in that case, it is a copyright violation. —xyzzyn 09:40, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Possibly unfree Image:666.jpg

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:666.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page to provide the necessary information on the source or licensing of this image (if you have any), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. —xyzzyn 14:17, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge Proposal

A merger of Speech therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Speech pathology, and Phoniatrics into one article has been proposed and a name suggested for the new page. I note that you have contributed to one page or the other in the last while. If you have any comments please make them on the talk page of Speech therapy. --Slp1 00:38, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please support complement EU !!!

Hi,as a EU supporter maybe you´d like to support this: I´m trying to implement the 'EU' in the city-templates of European city articles. The EU should be mentioned next to the country; like country : Spain / EU Please support the enhancement in these templates and argue for the innovation if you want to. Would be great.

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:666.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:666.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:40, 23 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jkelly 23:40, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Done, I think. —xyzzyn 23:51, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
