Ian Rubin

Ian Rubin (born April 17, 1973 in Odessa, Ukraine) was a Russian rugby league player. He played the majority of his professional career for the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League competition in Australia; and previously played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs. His position of choice was in the forwards playing usually at Prop.
Rubin captained the Russian national side at the 2000 World Cup after qualifying to play for them via the grandparent rule.
