Professional programmer and author Ian Rogers (born April 27, 1967 Essex England) is widely recognised[citation needed] as an authority on the google search algorithm, pagerank.

With a BA with honours in Artificial Intelligence, Sussex University he has also achieved national championship status in amateur Jive Dancing: "Most entertaining couple" UK Airsteps Championships 1996, UK no. 4 Amateur Modern Jive Champion September 1996 and 1999, UK no. 1 Amateur Modern Jive Team Champion May 2001, World Open Modern Jive Champion April 2004, UK no. 1 Amateur Modern Jive Team Champion May & July 2004.

He is also a regular Tenor with the Southgate College Opera.
