Ian Anderson is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and music promoter. He started his own label, Afternoon Records, after graduating high school and co-founded the online magazine, Sliver, in 2006. He's known in the Twin Cities music scene for signing promising young musicians, such as Haley Bonar.
Ian is a really cool dude who went to Benilde-St. Margaret's high school in St. Louis Park, MN (a suburb of Minneapolis). He and I started an unoficial ultimate Frisbee team and played together after school (though he did all the work). He was a writer for the school's newspaper, the Knight Errant, and did a story on me with a funny picture. According to the graduation issue of the Knight Errant, he went to (or goes to) St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He graduated from Benilde-St. Margaret's in 2003. This writer wishes he had kept in touch with Ian.
