Llord played for St. Catharines Athletics Jr. A team in Ontario Lacrosse Association. He was team captain.
Llord was a First Round Draft pick (5th Overall) by the Philadelphia Wings in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft. He was awarded "Rookie of the Week Honors in Week 7 of the 2007 Season.
He was selected 1st Overall in the 2007 Major Series Lacrosse Draft by the Brampton Excelsiors of the WLA.
