Ian Goodison

Ian Goodison (born November 21, 1972 in Montego Bay) is a football defender from Jamaica.

Nicknamed 'Pepe', he currently plays for Tranmere Rovers, to which he joined in February 2004. He previously played for Hull City and in Jamaica for Olympic Gardens F.C. and Seba United F.C.. He started at Tranmere as a left back, where he earned the nickname 'notvery' but has since moved into the centre of defence, where he has established himself as a first team regular.

He made his debut for the Jamaica national football team in 1996 against Guatemala and immediately scored his first international goal. In 1998 he played at the 1998 FIFA World Cup and as of October 2005 he has played 100 international matches and scored 9 goals ].
