Ian Collins (born 24 October 1968, Scunthorpe)[citation needed] is a British Radio Presenter currently presenting The Late Show on talkSPORT.

Ironically, Ian is the both talkSPORT's longest serving presenter. He presented the show, Ian Collins and the Creatures of the Night from 1995 to 2002, then the Late-Night Weekend Show, Ian Collins: Unbranded from 2002 to 2004, he then replaced Mike Dickin on the mid morning show from 10am - 1pm, including a spell co-hosting the show with Mike Parry. In May 2006, Ian and chick-sidekick Chessy replaced Mike Mendoza on weekday Overnights in a series of changes at TalkSport, which saw Mendoza move to weekend Overnights and Jon Gaunt replacing Collins on the mid morning show.

The original Creatures of the Night line up featured Kev the Wondersheep and Mike Hanson. Then later "Pop Up" Pete, and Sarah Mulvey.

Ian is a supporter of Chelsea Football Club and is a big fan of the TV show Six Feet Under. He's also a huge 24 fan as well as loving Family Guy and Arrested Development .He claims to like nothing better than sitting in front of the box, to watch a DVD and detests the cinema environment.

He played a haemovore in The Curse of Fenric, a 1989 Doctor Who serial, and has had supporting roles in various TV programmes including The Bill and London's Burning.

In 2006 Collins continued talkSPORT's association with Melbourne radio station SEN 1116 by appearing on the World Sport Overnight programme, exchanging classic Aussie-Pom banter with Peter Marcato and Craig Moore.

Collins features in both of Danny Wallace's books, Join Me and Yes Man and briefly in the collaboration with Dave Gorman, Are you Dave Gorman?. As Wallace's best-friend, he serves as voice of reason for the wacky author. Ian himself published a book, I Bet You Won't Read This: Confessions Of A Night Time Radio Host in 2000, which included unedited letters that had been sent into his show and also offered tips on how to get into the radio industry.

Ian was the last person to interview his friend Peter Cushing.
