Ian Cohen

Ian Cohen (born 1951) is an Australian politician, he has been a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since 1995, for The Greens. He joined The Greens in 1984.

After attending Fort Street High School Cohen attended and graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts (BA), and later he earned a Graduate Diploma in Education (DipEd). He is an environmental and social change activist. He writes articles for environmental and surfing publications. His special interests include surfing, swimming, bushwalking and cycling.
