Ian Black (born 14 March 1985 in Edinburgh) is a professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League side Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Highlands. Ian has a haphazard attitude when it comes to player safety and regulary makes dangerous tackles resulting in yellow cards, he has also been subed off by his manager to stop him being sent off.
Ian was formerly with the youth teams at Heart of Midlothian, and English Premiership team Blackburn Rovers. Ian joined ICT in 2004, and so far has scored once in over 50 appearances. Ian used to wear the number 24 shirt, but in July 2006, was given the number 8 shirt.
