[edit] License tagging for Image:Half Penny 1943.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Half Penny 1943.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:07, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Some stuff
Hi,
It is amazing to see new editors joining in Wikipedia and contributing. Your edits on the Australian coins are wonderful. There are a few obscure convention on Wikipedia that may not be so obvious at first.
First, article and category titles should be sentence case per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (capital letters). So that means Category:Australian Decimal Coins should be renamed to Category:Decimal coins of Australia. Unfortunately, renaming a category is not as easy as clicking the "move" button at the top. It must go through the bureaucracy of discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion and at the end admin/bot intervention. But luckily, this change qualifies "speedy renaming" criteria 2. So we should face no resistance. I will start the process in a few minites.
Categories are not trees or hierarchies. So if Category:1 dollar is placed under Category:Australian Decimal Coins, it doesn't make Category:1 dollar exclusive for Australian decimal coins. So the "right" way to resolve this is to either include all "1 dollar" articles to the category, or to delete the category.
You can upload images to Wikipedia Commons so that the images can be used on Wikipedia of all languages. There is already a category on common where you can tag the images: commons:Category:Coins of Australia. You might be wondering what to do with the images already uploaded to the English Wikipedia. You can tag these images with something like {{subst:ncd|Image:Filename.jpg}} and admins on en wiki will eventually delete the duplicates on en.

[edit] Magic book
I have all of the mintages from 1850 soverigns to 2000 and some 20 cent, 50 cents and $1. It is just a normal Australian coinage reference book. But I will do. Enlil Ninlil 04:45, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
