'I Won't Let You Go' was the first single of Agnetha Fältskog's second English solo-album Eyes Of A Woman. The song was written by Agnetha herself with lyrics by producer Eric.
Due to the lack of promotion, the song didn't perform well in the charts reaching only No. 6 in Sweden, No. 17 in the Netherlands, No. 24 in Germany and No. 84 in the UK.
The B-side of this single, "You're There" was also written by Agnetha and remains the last released song written by her. All future albums only featured songs written by other songwriters.
In some countries a 12"-single was released that featured an extended-remix instead of the album-version.
