I Wish It So is a song originally written by American composer Marc Blitzstein for his musical adaptation of Sean O'Casey's Juno and the Paycock, the ill-fated 1959 Broadway musical Juno. The song took on a life of its own after the show closed, and is frequently used as an audition piece for young mezzo sopranos or altos.
