I Want You (Bob Dylan song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I Want You is a 1966 song recorded by Bob Dylan which appeared on the album Blonde on Blonde. It was also released as a single in June and reached number twenty on the Billboard Hot 100.
It is widely thought that there are references to The Rolling Stones member Brian Jones in the line "the dancing child in his Chinese suit", with a reference to The Rolling Stones in the line "I thought time was on his side", a reference to the Stones' song "Time Is on My Side". This came as a result of a friendship Dylan had struck up with the founding member of The Rolling Stones in the mid-sixties.
