I Hope That Somethin' Better Comes Along! is a song from The Muppet Movie (1979).

After Miss Piggy runs out on him for an "audition", a heartbroken Kermit goes for a drink where he meets Rowlf the Dog playing the piano in a Hotel Bar. A brief discussion about heartache leads to the song "I hope that something better comes along", a duet by both Kermit and Rowlf about their women problems. A lot of the song substitutes normal words for types of dog or just general animal references in low level puns (She'll get under your collar).
