I Got You On Tape is a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2004. The band has often been compared to artists such as David Bowie, Interpol, Tindersticks and R.E.M. mostly due to the melodious tunes and harmonies. I Got You On Tape's self-entitled debut album was produced by one of Denmark's most skilled and established musicians and producers, Nikolaj Nørlund, and the record was released on his label, Auditorium.
I Got You On Tape received major airplay with their first single "Doctor Watching" on Danish national radio station P3 and quickly developed a loyal fanbase, who in turn have been awarded with free online version of various I Got You On Tape songs made available by the band.
