[edit] Novel or novella?

Since I am a Dalek is, strictly speaking, a novella rather than a novel, is it OK that it's in Category:2006 novels and Category:Tenth Doctor novels? Should we have a category for Doctor Who novellas, for this and the Telos Doctor Who novellas? —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 04:10, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

You could just have it in the main "Doctor Who Books" category. Angmering 06:45, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Done. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 17:42, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
I don't think there's much point worrying about the distinctions between novel and novella when it comes to the categories given the various overlaps in length between the Telos "novellas", the Virgin and earlier BBC Books novels, the current new series adventures and the old Target novelisations. Are we going to call the shorter novelisations novellas and the longer Telos "novellas" novels? They're all novels in a more general sense of the word. Bondegezou 22:06, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Going by other precedents, it appears that novellas published on their own tend to be put in the "YEAR novels" categories so I have done so with this one, in lieu of there being a "YEAR novellas" category (which might eventually come). 23skidoo 06:19, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Distribution status in North America

Can anyone speak to this book's distribution status in North America? I've just been informed that it is unavailable to Amazon despite it being listed on their site and it has yet to turn up in any bookstores at least in my part of Canada. 23skidoo 18:43, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
