I'm So Excited

"I'm So Excited" is a song recorded by the Pointer Sisters and is on their album So Excited from 1982 and 1984 (off Break Out). The song was chosen as one of the Songs of the Century by RIAA.
The song was first released in 1982 through inclusion in the movie Summer Lovers, but it peaked at #30 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US. However, it was given another chance two years later, and it peaked at number seven on the same chart.
The song was also included in the movie "Hot Shots! Part Deux" (1993).
In 2004, the post-punk band Le Tigre covered this song on their third album This Island.
It was performed by Hot Sundae in an episode of Saved by the Bell. The single is also shown on a commercial by Bell Canada, where one of its beavers was secretly dancing to the beat of the song while failing to notice the other coming in the room.
