Jennifer Holliday came back onto the charts with her fourth album, I'm on Your Side. I'm album consists of soul stirring, dramatic, moving ballads. These kind of songs have always been one of Holliday' strengths. Holliday takes Angela Bofill's 1985 Top 10 hit, "I'm on Your Side" and makes it her own, applying her own gusto to the song. It was an excellent choice as a single, peaking at #10 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. The second single, "Love Stories" peaked at #29 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. The albums' standout tracks aside from the singles are "A Dream With Your Name on It", "It Will Haunt Me", "It's In There", "More 'N' More", and "Is It Love."
