"I'll Stop At Nothing" is the fourth single by 1960s British girl singer Sandie Shaw. Released in early 1965, it became her third successive Top 5 hit - reaching Number 4. Written by Chris Andrews, who wrote the majority of Shaw's 1960s hits, the song was originally suggested for Adam Faith (who had originally discovered Shaw) but was chosen to be recorded by Shaw instead. She has stated that the song is one of her favourites to perform live, and in the 1980s when she took part in several gay pride concerts she sang the song how it had originally been written for Faith - changing the gender of the lyrics (such as "I won't give up trying until HER heart is mine"). The song has become a favourite amongst Shaw's gay fans perhaps due to its lyrical content, which tells the story of a woman totally determined to get with the man she loves and refusing to give up hope.
