I-Team

i-Team is a United Kingdom based Internet Cycling club with over 240 members worldwide.
i-Team Cycling club was started in January 2003 by cycling coach, Guy Watson with the aim of offering a cycling club service for anyone that does not have local access to a UK club that suits their needs, (e.g. travellers, ex-pats and busy professionals.) i-Team is affiliated to British Cycling, Cycling Time Trials, British Triathlon Association, and other regional leagues & associations, as members require. In 2004 i-Team was awarded British Cycling "Go-Ride" accreditation and is currently working towards "Club Mark" status. i-Team has been set up as a development club and is especially suitable to beginners. In 2005 i-Team finished a team of 23 riders in L'Etape du Tour, won a British national youth championship and gained 4th in the British national junior road race championships. i-Team organises weekly rides in the Portsmouth, Shrewsbury, Reading and Alderly Edge areas and also members get together at national and international sportive events including L'Etape du Tour
