Hvidebæk is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in West Zealand County on the west coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 98,26 km², and has a total population of 5,492 (2005). Its mayor is Henning Fougt, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.

The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Jerslev Sjælland.

Neighboring municipalities are Høng to the southeast, Tornved to the east, Bjergsted to the northeast, Kalundborg to the northwest, and Gørlev to the southwest. To the west is Jammerland Bay (Jammerland Bugt) and the Great Belt (Storebælt), the strait which separates Zealand from the island of Funen. The municipality of Kerteminde on the island of Funen is Hvidebæk's municipal neighbor to the west, albeit separated by the waters of the Great Belt.

By January 1, 2007 Hvidebæk municipality will cease to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It will be merged with existing Bjergsted, Gørlev, Høng, and Kalundborg municipalities to form the new Kalundborg municipality. This will create a municipality with an area of 598 km² and a total population of 48,697 (2005). The new municipality will belong to the new Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region").
