[edit] Early Years

Huztlaz Greed IV originally started messing with music and recording himself around 1992 and 1993. He formed a group in 1993 called Phinal Phrontier (pronounced Final Frontier) along with his best friend B.L.I.S.S.. They were often referred to as Double P. In 1994, This group exspanded with three new members forming the side group Tripple P (Phinal Phrontier Pound). H Greed got this ideal from one of his favorite rap groups at the time Tha Dogg Pound. Tripple P consisted of Super Dave (now David Lawrence), Mother Nature and L Katt. Mother Nature was the sister of David Lawrence and H Greed. L Katt never did stay with the group, so the life of Tripple P never made it passed a few months. After this incident, Double P changed their name to Righteous Kliental. They felt that they needed a new beginning. R.K. only contained two members, Huztlaz Greed IV and B.L.I.S.S.. In 1994, that same year, H Greed moved to Atlanta, Georgia in hopes of returning to music scene that was blowing up there back to Little Rock, Arkansas. While in Atlanta, H Greed put his rapping career on hold for the next six years to finish school. He graduated from Banneker High School in 1998. He later attended Ga Perimeter College the same year where he met Tabari who also had a passion for music. The two started the rap label O.S.h.R. in November of 2000. H Greed was introduced to the internet rap world by his two best friends Marcus Reese and Kenneth Davis (known as Kennwood). From this moment on H Greed took music seriously with pollishing up on his skills with text style battles. He begin working on his first two projects in early 2001. These two projects were entitled E.P. and Due Season. E.P. was never considered an album with only seven tracks and poor recording equipment. Due Season was a rare album that H Greed produced all of, but two tracks on his own. It is an album that was never in circulation, but for H Greed it was practice for his debut into mainstream with the album IN/GREED/IENTs.

[edit] Albums

His first underground album was IN/GREED/IENTs which he passed out for free to those on the South Side of Atlanta, Georgia in Riverdale and Union City. He was very shy about this album and nervous about what many would think so it never made it out too far. He never attempted to sale any copies of this album. He sampled a handful of beats from MP3.com and Soundclick.com as well to create music on beats that had rarley been heard by audiences who were not using the computer in their everyday life. His first album included features by Dame-Daniel who currently still is an On Site Artist. The song that they did together was Walk It (the norm) which spread all over King City in the central part of California. Other songs that stood out were Game, Joy ft. Red Hour, Ingreedients, Vizions, My Momz, Hea We Com ft. Marcus Reese and What If. This album was successful because it proved to H Greed he was capable of actually being a rapper. Something that many doubted because in earlier years he was considered shy to most. H Greed always like to say that he wasn't shy, but just laid back.

360 DeGreedZ was the second attempt only five months later and was very successful in reaching a wider range of fans. This album managed to make it all over the South Side of Atlanta, Georgia, Little Rock, Arkansas and Salinas, California. Not only was it surprising that he was able to do another album so quickly and better than the first one, but it was well produced. Without even selling a single copy, he managed to pass out a total of 250 copies of this album not including burned copies that were circulating as well. This album introduced B.L.I.S.S. and teamed him back up with best friend Dame-Daniel to make the hit song Got Luv which debuted on Enfuego, a radio station out in the Bay area of California. The first time either one of them had ever been heard on a radio station. This help influence Dame-Daniel that he should think about relocating to Atlanta, Georgia to help jump start his career. Red Hour was also featured on this album again with a song entitled Neva Met, which described a past relationship that he was in. This album had proved to be better than the one prior to it. It seemed that rap artist H Greed was taking steps to reach the top status. However, he also took a hard blow that same year in February the day after Valentine's Day when one of his best friends died of heart failure. He went on to dedicate his follow-up album to his friend Berkley Turner. A couple months after that his other long-time friend Phillip was murdered in Little Rock, Arkansas after attempting to rob a local business.

Later on that same year, he followed up with the double album Greed Mythology which contained of forty tracks. Twenty tracks per disc. This album dropped exactly one year after the first album was released in September of 2003. Even though he did not pass out as many copies on this album due to the fact he was giving his albums away instead of selling them, he passed out more copies of it in the Atlanta and Little Rock area. He gave away about 180 copies of this album to friends and family. Though he had a bigger fan base in California, he never gave this album out up there because of money issues. He completeing great albums with a range of artist without making a profit. He teamed up rap artist such as Essence of Armmagedeon from Chicago and Maximus from the U.K.. A long awaited official two songs was produced with B.L.I.S.S. and H Greed on it. One of the songs also introduced Dawn Juan who is the cousin of B.L.I.S.S.. It featured David Lawrence as well. Ladie Khmer even had two tracks with him on this album. A handful of remixes were done with this album, but barely ever surfaced.

In April of 2004, H Greed released his last solo album underground, so he thought. It was the best album he had ever done. He gave away close to 500 copies of this album with even more being bootlegged around Georgia, Arkansas and California. This was even the breakthrough album for those who liked him in Canada. He only had thirteen tracks on this album and one feature. MC Lean had finally made a debut on an H Greed album and Charlie Black was born at the same time. Fans of his who purchased this album stated that this was the best H Greed album ever made. Every single track on this album was a fan favorite. It even caught the eye of some well-known producers in the Atlanta area who decided to help H Greed start his career into the mainstream world of Hip Hop. The title of this album was GreedNite.

Greedification was his fifth attempt, but the album was never completely finished. An EP of this album was released with only a few songs on it. This was considered the finished production. Only about a handful of songs were recorded in 2006.

[edit] Side Albums

H Greed may have only done four solo albums, but he had more than that on his plate. Shortly after the release of his first album IN/GREED/IENTs, he released a collaberated album with Dame-Daniel. Dame-Daniel use to go by the name Damon and at the time the two put their names together to form the group HuMon who released one album. Though the album wasn't totally what fans expected, they still excepted it. The track banger was Call 'Em Out which was produced by H Greed. The song brought in so much controversy that they managed to push a couple hundred copies and sale just as many. They recently have released a single entitled House Party which they still perform sometimes.

Righteous Kliental was suppose to be the next group to release off of On Site, but due to too many problems recieveing the needed studio time, B.L.I.S.S. was unable to finish recording and ended up releasing his own albums under On Site.

Greed also did a compialation CD entitled The Battles: Round 1 which featured him going toe to toe with some of the hottest underground artist and being able to hold his own. At the end of the album there was a collaberated song with all of them on it. This was the highlight of the album, besides the album him and Ladie Khmer did going neck to neck as well. This album also contained the diss track against Salad Bowl Records at the time before H Greed met with Gemini and the two settled there differences before the beef became public.

He also managed to do two mixtapes of which one was highly successful. The first mixtape was one Greed did on his own which was very successful and at the same time the first time he had ever been put on Napster as an artist you could search and find in order to download his songs illegally. A few years later he did an album with Big Daddy Rich and Scubey Do which moved about a total of 2000 units in sales. The most successful album to date under the O.S.h.R. Umbrella.

H Greed also dedicated an album to his long-time girlfriend, now wife, Ladie Khmer. It was a ten track album which featured David Lawrence as well.

GHDx8 was also introduced as this time. The group contained Greed, Hova (known as Spoken Words), Drew and Mr. Sideways8. The album never got finished, but is scheduled to be released in the early quarter of 2007.

There were talks of other albums with Drew and MC Lean, but nothing was ever confirmed if these statements were true.
