Talk:Hutt International Boys' School

So just one question... Why are you (Lewis Holden) patrolling this page when you are not even a HIBS student any more?

also Arya was not the one placing his name in the principal section earlier, neither was I.

Because I revert everything that is vandalism. I would patrol this page even if I wasn't a former HIBS student, the edits made to it were vandalism. This is Wikipedia, not the HIBS website - anyone is entitled to edit here.
It did seem strange that someone would persist in changing the Principal's name to Arya, unless it was actually Arya. I could only assume it was him, as it wasn't really funny. --Lholden 09:02, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes, you could only assume. Assumption and your personal opinions are not necessary on a site dedicated spreading, sharing, and gaining the knowledge of the world. --Growly 09:42, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Heh? I was reverting vandalism on the page, not putting across my own personal opinions. The assumption made was on who was doing it - and as I said above, I don't see why anyone but Arya would change the Principal's name to Arya, because it could only be funny to Arya! :-) --Lholden 21:48, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

That was exactly my point - you were assuming that this Arya character did it, when all you have to base your assumption on is whatever view you hold of his personality. My pickle lies not within your vandalism removal, but your blame on a any specific person. You even wrote "Grow up, you're meant to be a role model" in one of your change summaries. You said so yourself, "anyone is entitled to edit here". Ah yes, the beauty of the internet. Your contributions are appreciated, you don't need to defend yourself by blaming others. --Growly 07:58, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Hasn't the motto been changed? I can't actually remember, but it doesn't match the one on the HIBS website ("Excellence and Encouragement") in any case. --MercuryFree 12:38, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Probably. It changed twice while I was there. --Lholden 23:21, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I reverted an edit that was critical of "Smart boards". This was because is was unsourced. If there is a verifiable reference for this information and it is presented accurately, it could be included. — ERcheck (talk) 10:40, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
