Huthwaite is a small village in Nottinghamshire, England, located to the southwest of Mansfield, close to the Derbyshire border. It was formerly known as Hucknall-under-Huthwaite, or Dirty Hucknall, but the name was changed officially in 1907. [1]

huthwaite has been known from the times of Viking because the vikings used to end there villiges in "thwaite" and a man named janst huthman took the name to huthwaite although the name remains today.
