As with Wife, the content here does not constitute a proper article. The content was all dictionary definitions (see WP:WINAD) or unsourced, biased POV content. I am redirecting it to Marriage as it was before. Joie de Vivre 23:13, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Give it time and relax. For starters, there are other terms that are called husband, not only the title you dislike so much. two users said there should be a proper article. The content may be changed, its existence is wanted. Also, six edits or so for a redirect, why all that trouble? why not give it time for the others to react to the un-redirecting?FlammingoParliament 23:17, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removed, unsourced content

These unsourced statements are POV:

A marriage might take many forms, like polygamy, though the husbandry has unchangeable results for the husband, or husbands.
A husband has at most times in history been more autonomous than his wife, or wives, in economical (financial, etc) and legal terms. While it was well possible in some societies for a wife to have more than one husband, the biology demanded for the wife to bear children, leaving him to procure for the family.
The European Christian tradition is dominated by the preference of monogamy.

Yep. Joie de Vivre 23:21, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Hm. Give it time and let others join? Or is there no other that may have something to say?FlammingoParliament 23:24, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
This article is too short, especially since the only sources are a dictionary and your own ideas. This should redirect to Marriage because there's almost nothing here. Joie de Vivre 23:39, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes. But then it's just been there an hour. Just be patient. Check books on "wife", if you are looking fo information. FlammingoParliament 23:44, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
