Hurroks are a fictional creation of Tamora Pierce and appear in many of her works that are set in the Tortall Universe, most notably, The Immortals Quartet.

Hurroks are generally described as winged horses similar to a pegasus, but with claws instead of hooves and the eyes and teeth of a predator. Their name is believed to have originated in the slurring of the words 'horse-hawk'.

No specific Hurrok characters appear in any of The Immortals books, but unnamed Hurroks attack Daine and Numair on several occasions.
