Hurricane Deck, Missouri is an unincorporated community in Camden County and located on the Lake of the Ozarks. It is part of the lake's resort area, and is believed to be named after the hurrican deck of a riverboat. It was said that standing on the bluff overlooking where the bridge is now currently located was like standing on the hurrican deck of a riverboat.
