Hurler was one of two roller coasters built by International Coasters Inc. The two, both named Hurler, exist at Kings Dominion and Carowinds. Both coasters opened in the same year, 1994. The coasters both have the exact same design, with the exact same statistics.

The Hurler at Kings Dominion was closed at the start of the 2006 season in order to be re-tracked. It has since reopened.

[edit] Ride Layout

Riders are hoisted up a small 83 foot lift hill and make a wide turn before reaching the initial drop. After the drop a unique element exists, an extremely wide, heavily banked, flat, turn. The ride continues with many hills and drops giving an ultimate feeling of air time before bringing riders back to the station.
