Hurler was one of two roller coasters built by International Coasters Inc. The two, both named Hurler, exist at Cedar Fair's Carowinds and Kings Dominion parks. Both coasters opened in the same year, 1994. The coasters both have the exact same design, with the exact same statistics.
[edit] Ride Layout
Riders are hoisted up a small 83 foot lift hill and make a wide turn before reaching the initial drop. During the drop, Hurler's on-ride camera automatically takes a picture (most days Hurler's camera is turned off). After the drop a unique element exists, an extremely wide, heavily banked, flat, turn. The ride continues with many hills and drops giving an ultimate feeling of air time before bringing riders back to the station.
