Hurbanovo (until 1948 Stará Ďala, Hungarian: Ógyalla, German: Altdala) is a town and large municipality in the Komarno District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia. It is named after Slovak writer Jozef Miloslav Hurban.

In historical records the town was first mentioned in 1329.

The town lies at an altitude of 115 metres and covers an area of 59.943 km². It has a population of about 8030 people.

The town is about 50.19% Magyar, 45.52% Slovak and 2.56% Roma.
